The Ibanez GA621-BOT is a sleek, modern take on the classical guitar, designed for players who want the feel and sound of nylon strings in a slimmer, more stage-ready package. With its thinline cutaway body, narrower nut and onboard electronics with tuner, it’s ideal for steel-string converts, live performers and anyone who finds a traditional classical a bit too bulky.

Built around a Spruce and Sapele body with an open pore finish, the GA621 delivers a clear, articulate voice with a warm midrange that sits beautifully in a mix. The comfortable Nyatoh neck and Rosewood fingerboard make chords and melodies feel effortless, while the Ibanez undersaddle pickup and AEQ210T preamp ensure your tone translates naturally when you plug in.

Comfortable Thinline Cutaway Classical body

The body keeps the guitar slim and close to the player, reducing fatigue during long sets and making it feel more like a modern acoustic or electric. The cutaway also gives you clear access to higher frets, so intricate solos and upper-register chord voicings are far easier to reach than on a traditional full-depth classical.

Player-friendly neck with narrower nut

A Nyatoh GA-profile neck with a 14th fret joint and a narrower 46 mm nut offers a more familiar feel for players used to steel-string or electric guitars. The slightly reduced nut width makes stretches and barre chords less demanding, while the 648 mm scale length and flat Rosewood fingerboard retain the precision and intonation you expect from a classical instrument.

Stage-ready electronics

The Ibanez undersaddle pickup and AEQ210T preamp capture the natural acoustic character of the guitar and give you practical control when performing. With volume, bass and treble controls, plus a built-in digital tuner and phase switch, you can shape your sound, stay in tune and tackle feedback issues directly from the guitar without extra pedals.
