Description

The Ibanez SR300E-IPT Bass in Iron Pewter is In stock available now for fast UK delivery online for £319 + Delivery. This excellent piece of kit is manufactured by Ibanez and in New condition and comes with a great warranty.

Ibanez want every one of their guitars and basses to provide massive value to the user. From their budget Gio range all the way up to their high end prestige model everything that comes out of their factory is high quality. The SR300 may sit at the budget end but you will not believe the versatile range of tones available thanks to the new PowerSpan pickups and active preamp.

Performance Based Design

No one wants to play an uncomfotable instrument and Ibanez knows this. The SR range of basses are slim, lightweight and are carved carefully to sit close for extra comfort. They also use extremely slim necks that are unlike any other bass you may have played. The entire point of this design is that it is non restrictive, it does not get in the way of you being the best player you can possibly be.

Versatile Electronics

No one wants to be locked down to their style due to their instrument. That is part of what makes this bass so good for the money. Not only do you have a set of brand new PowerSpan humbucking pickups with open poles but you also have Ibanez’s own custom 3 band EQ with power tap switch. That switch is the real magic as it lets you go from humbucking (modern) to single coil (traditional) sounds instantly and even lets you access an enhanced single coil mode which punches up the low end.

Here’s what Ibanez say about the SR300E

With its continued popularity, Ibanez has been keeping a constant effort to improve the SR series, answering the wider needs of a variety of players at a variety of budgets. Ibanez is now proud to announce huge upgrades to the SR300 series. The New PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups with exposed pole pieces provide high output with more clarity than ever. A 3-way power tap system  on the Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ creates 3 tonal options; Humbucking, Single coil, and Low-end enhanced single coil. This allows for much more versatility. Along with the new upgraded tonal options, the great staples of the SR line have been preserved; smooth and fast neck, lightweight body and supreme comfortability. All of these specs combine to create a truly impressive bass available at a great price.

About Ibanez

We have new and used Ibanez gear available on our website for fast direct delivery direct to you from across sellers in all areas of the USA & UK.

The Hoshino Gakki company began in 1908 as the musical instrument sales division of the Hoshino Shoten, a bookstore chain. Hoshino Gakki decided in 1935 to make Spanish-style acoustic guitars, at first using the “Ibanez Salvador” brand name in honor of Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, and later simply “Ibanez”.

In the 1970s, the Nisshin Onpa company who owned the Maxon brand name, developed and began selling a series of effect pedals in Japan. Hoshino Gakki licensed these for sale using the name Ibanez outside Japan. These two companies eventually began doing less and less business together until Nisshin Onpa ceased manufacturing the TS-9 reissue for Hoshino Gakki in 2002.
