The Martin 000-28E is the amplified version of one of Martins most celebrated acoustic guitars combining the legendary balance and responsiveness of the 000 body shape with discreet stage-ready electronics. Handcrafted with a solid spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides it produces a rich articulate voice with deep bass sparkling trebles and complex overtones. As part of Martins refreshed Standard Series it benefits from Golden Era-inspired appointments and construction updates that enhance both tone and playability. A GE Modified Low Oval neck profile with High-Performance Taper offers a fast comfortable feel complemented by an ebony fingerboard 24.9-inch scale length and premium bone nut and saddle. The integrated Fishman Thinline Gold pickup faithfully captures the guitars natural acoustic voice for live performance and studio recording without altering its classic appearance. Elegant finishing touches include bold herringbone top inlay antique white binding abalone diamond and square fingerboard inlays faux tortoise pickguard and nickel open-gear tuners.
