Delivering a warm vintage-inspired voice it pairs a solid spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides for punchy midrange crisp treble and a focused low end that sits beautifully in a mix. It produces a woody intimate sound with impressive projection making it equally at home in the studio on stage or anywhere else. Whether youre strumming energetic rhythms or accompanying a singer it offers the balanced expressive tone that players have come to expect from Martin. For the first time Martin has matched this slope shoulder dreadnought design with a shorter 24.9″ scale length creating a more relaxed playing feel while complementing the guitars naturally warm tonal character. Forward-shifted scalloped X-bracing enhances resonance sustain and bass response while the satin-finished Modified Low Oval neck and ebony fingerboard ensure lasting comfort. L.R. Baggs Element electronics faithfully reproduce the instruments voice when amplified and Martin Era Legacy Edition strings complete a package thats ready to inspire.
