The semi-hollow Brazilian Mahogany body adds depth and warmth with an open and airy, well-balanced tone full of rich sustain and natural harmonics. PJD 59 Humbuckers The PJD ’59’, PAF-style humbuckers are crafted the right way using Alnico 4 magnets, a nickel silver base plate and 42 AWG plain enamel wire. They are scatter wound by hand, offering a true vintage-voiced pickup set with an abundance of clarity and note definition as well as a wide dynamic range that suits a broad range of playing styles.
