Description

The PRS Astryx Limited Edition marks the debut signature model for Dany Villarreal, lead guitarist, vocalist and co-founder of powerhouse rock trio The Warning. Inspired by her electrifying playing style, commanding stage presence and fearless approach to songwriting, the Astryx takes the legendary PRS Custom 24 platform and gives it a distinctly personal twist. With just 200 instruments available worldwide in 2026, each guitar comes complete with an autographed backplate, making this a seriously collectable release. Custom 24 DNA, refined for Dany Built on the proven foundations of the PRS Custom 24, the Astryx retains all the features players know and love, including a figured Maple top, Mahogany back, 25″ scale length, 24-fret ‘Pattern Thin’ neck, PRS Patented Gen III Tremolo and a pair of powerful DMO humbuckers. The standout addition is a sleek Ebony fingerboard, providing an even more luxurious feel and lightning-fast response. It’s a combination that perfectly complements Dany’s mix of precision, aggression and versatility on-stage. A celestial design with personal meaning The Astryx tells the story of Dany Villarreal’s journey as a musician. Its name derives from the root word for “star”, symbolising guidance, ambition and a connection to something bigger than ourselves. Continuing the celestial theme, a unique 12th-fret sun inlay named Solecito (Spanish for “little sun”) pays tribute to Dany’s Mexican heritage, while the stunning Ocaso finish blends shades of purple, pink, orange and yellow to capture the colours of a sunset. Dany Villarreal on the Astryx “It has such a beautiful sustain, which I really like. The neck also feels so comfortable, and it’s not that heavy. As the only guitar player in the band, I love how my PRS takes up a lot of space sonically. It did wonders for our three-piece band.” — VillarrealKey Features Only 200 pieces produced worldwide in 2026: This is a rare opportunity to own a truly special artist version of PRS’s iconic Custom 24.
