Description
The PRS DGT (David Grissom Trem) is the result of more than two decades of collaboration between Paul Reed Smith and guitarist David Grissom. Built on the trusted McCarty platform the DGT combines vintage-inspired tone with modern PRS craftsmanship. A maple top and mahogany back provide the classic balance of clarity warmth and sustain while the 25″ scale length and rosewood fretboard offer a familiar feel that responds naturally to both rhythm and lead playing. Finished in Gold Top with classic moon inlays this model captures a timeless aesthetic alongside its player-focused design. The DGTs specially voiced humbuckers were developed through extensive testing to capture a rich vintage-style character with strong articulation. Independent volume controls for each pickup allow precise blending while the push/pull master tone control activates coil taps for additional tonal flexibility. With taller frets and the comfortable DGT neck carve the guitar offers excellent control and expression across the fretboard. Combined with the PRS Gen II tremolo and Phase III locking tuners the DGT delivers dependable performance and inspiring tone straight out of the case.
