The S2 McCarty 594 Singlecut is a perfect representation of when modern building techniques meet vintage tried-and-tested appointments.

Key Features

  • 58/15 LT Pickups – Expect an inspiring warm, vintage-inspired tone.
  • PRS Vintage Tuners with “Wing” Button – Designed with tone in mind, these lightweight tuners subtract less energy from the vibrating strings making the guitar ring out for longer!
  • Push/Pull Controls – With the combination of volume and tone controls for each pickup, and a push/pull control for each, you have full control of exactly how the pickups sound, making this one versatile guitar.

This guitar’s warm, familiar tone comes from its vintage-shaped neck and its singlecut body which makes the guitar truly resonant due to its supported construction.

Perfect for either humbucking tones, or sweet single-coil sounds, the S2 McCarty 594 can seamlessly perform to the highest of standards thanks to both the pickups and the dual volume and push/pull tone control layout for you to easily dial in the exact tone needed.

The luxurious Maple top adorns this Mahogany body, and combined with the Mahogany neck with Rosewood fingerboard, the tonewoods used for this guitar are built with performance and tonal quality at the core.

After ten years, the PRS S2 Series is being updated with USA-made pickups and electronics for 2024.

Rich Tone and Easy Playability

PRS’ S2 McCarty 594 Singlecut boasts a Mahogany body, delivering a warm sound with plenty of harmonic richness in the mid-range finished with a stunning Maple top. Joining the body is a stunning Mahogany neck. Providing a natural and supportive feel, the neck is also topped with a silky-smooth Rosewood fingerboard that offers a luxurious touch under the fingers.

Versatile Sonic Palette

Loaded with 58/15 LT Pickups, the P2 McCarty 594 produces a bright and punchy tone that sounds great plugged into your pedalboard or straight into an amp.
