The Sire Marcus Miller Z3 Bass Sparkle Black is a four-string active bass suited to players wanting deep lows and flexible tone shaping. Its Sire Standard MM pickup provides the groovy humbucker character at the heart of the Z3 while the Marcus Heritage-3 active preamp gives you control over treble middle and bass for adjusting your sound. This lets you shape tones that suit both classic and contemporary playing.The mahogany Z-Bass body combines a distinctive shape with a rounded forearm contour and defined lower cutaway helping the bass feel comfortable while giving you practical access around the neck. And for the fretting hand the hard maple neck features an Edgeless hard maple fingerboard with rolled edges. Paired with 22 medium-jumbo frets a 34-inch scale and a 12-inch radius it provides a comfortable foundation for grooves rehearsals and performance.
