Description

Taking inspiration from iconic S-style guitars, the Soloking MS-1 Custom has been designed to give you a high performance shredding machine without breaking the bank. Combining classic style with modern features, such as the beautiful Flame Maple veneered top with naturally revealed binding, modern “D” shape Roasted Maple neck profile, the 2-point floating Wilkinson tremolo, Alan Entwistle humbucker pickups, and jumbo stainless steel frets, as well as a recessed jack socket. The MS-1 incorporates style and performance all-in-one.

Versatile Sonic Palette

The HH configuration comprised of two Alan Entwistle Dark Star humbuckers in the bridge and neck gives you that beefy, crunchy, and full-fat tone that is great for lead and soloing. These humbuckers are perfectly suited for a heavier style of playing, great for rock and metal genres that are articulate and expressive by design. On top this, the humbuckers have the ability to coil tapped, giving you even more tonal options for a twangy and bright sound that you would normally find from single coil pickups.

Comfortably Ergonomic

Soloking’s MS-1 range feels fantastic in your hands, from the Roasted Maple fretboard to the ergonomic body contours that enable greater access and comfortability when playing.  The bolt-on heel joint has been carved to enable greater access to the high end of the fretboard. The “D” shape neck profile with a satin finish provides a welcoming playing experience that is suitable for any hand shape, whilst providing you with fast fretting and agility when navigating the fretboard. The jumbo stainless steel frets make it comfortably easy to be expressive with your playing without ringing out.

Enhanced Tuning Stability

Boasting a 2-point Wilkinson tremolo system and Wilkinson tuners, you can rest assured that the MS-1 will remain in tune whether you are creating deep dives or making expressive bends. The tuners really showcase the excellent build quality and attention to detail of this electric guitar to give you high-performance workhorse at an affordable price!

More info about this Product

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Guitar

Explore electric, acoustic and bass guitars across a wide range of playing styles, body shapes and specifications. The most useful differences include scale length, construction, pickup type, neck profile, materials and whether the instrument is intended for amplified, acoustic or hybrid use. Use the narrower guitar categories and feature tags to compare instruments with similar designs rather than relying on appearance alone.
