Based on the much-loved ER-2 Block 2, this more pedalboard-friendly analogue modulation pedal delivers the lush, swirling Univibe tones heard on countless classic recordings, while adding even greater flexibility for players who love to explore. More vibe, more versatility The ER-2 Block 3 is ThorpyFX’s ultimate take on the iconic Univibe effect. Designed completely from the ground up, it captures the rich, organic character that made the original effect legendary and introduces a brand-new Phase switch for even greater tonal control. Alongside traditional in-phase operation, you can now switch to out-of-phase modulation, unlocking new textures and alternative depths in both the Vibe and Chorus sounds. It’s still incredibly easy to use, but under the hood lies a sophisticated all-analogue circuit designed to cover decades of classic modulation tones and beyond. Simple controls, endless inspo! The dual footswitch layout keeps everything intuitive. The one on the left selects between Chorus and Vibe modes, with Vibe mode delivering the fully wet, authentic Univibe-style experience. The right footswitch handles the pedal’s bypass operation. Intensity controls the depth of the modulation, taking you from subtle movement to dramatic swirls, while Speed adjusts the rate of the sweep from slow and atmospheric to fast and psychedelic. Offset fine-tunes the character of the modulation by altering the LFO’s ramping behaviour, allowing you to tailor the feel of the effect to your own taste.
