London delivers the growl of natural amp breakup with all the saturated warmth alongside. With detailed controls and integrated reverb the ACS1 is truly an amp in pedal-form. Use this powerful tone sculptor to elevate your sound and tweak your perfect tonal foundations to perfection. The sheer versatility is apparent heightened by the ability to mix and match amp and cab combos independently on the left and right channels. With 32-Bit floating point processing ensuring unrivalled clarity and immaculate articulation the ACS1 guarantees each note will be dripping with vintage character. . Available from Guitar Pedals Amps & Stuff for only £ 389 – Staggering simulations The real deal. The Walrus Audio Mako ACS1 Amp & Cab Sim combines functionality with sheer versatility. Expand your options in stereo instead of one amp being used through both channels mix and match amps and cabinets on the left and right channels with the L + R switch. Just choose the channel to modify select your amp and cab model and set your levels. Then flip over to the other channel and repeat- its that easy. Bringing these tones to life is the intricate detail that went into the design: the volume and gain work together just they would on an amp; increasing gain levels also raise overall volume output so adjust the volume knob accordingly. And unlike the actual vintage models there are no performance issues or risk of gear being temperamental just reliably rich powerful amp tones. Huge headroom Many amp sim pedals simply try and replicate the tonal character and leave it at that… not the ACS1! The cab simulations really bring the amplifier sounds to life. The six high-quality cabinet impulse responses were custom-designed to optimise the sonic qualities of each amp and experimenting to find your perfect combination is the only way to work out whats best for you. The reverb control is also intuitively named Room this is since it actively simulates the size of the room that your amp and cabinet are in. At zero it would resemble a totally isolated environment with no reverb. At maximum itd be closer to a natural-sounding hall environment. Theres even a boost switch to quickly take your sound up a notch making this about as responsive a pedal as you will find on the market today. Features 3 vintage amp styles crucial to music history: Fullerton London Dartford Stereo or mono operation 6 high-quality cabinet impulse responses (IRs) Load your own IRs via dedicated web app (walrusaudio.io) Boost function to quickly jump to a preset level of volume and/or gain USB jack for firmware updating and IR loading Headphone output for bedroom practice 3 on-board presets 128 presets accessible via MIDI MIDI In/Out DIN connections Designed equally for live- and studio-applications Three bypass modes: true bypass DSP+ true bypass (trails) and DSP bypass Built on powerful MAKO platform with Analog Devices SHARC processor 24-bit 48kHz A/D and D/A converters for high quality audio 32-Bit floating point processing Anodized gold finish with black and green ink 9-volt DC Center Negative 300mA minimum Power Supply not included Made in the USASpecifications Product code: MAKO SERIES ACS1 Colour: Gold Dimensions: 124.5 x 64 x 67.1 mm Packaging dimensions: 127 x 113 x 70 mm Weight: 0.54 kg
