The JHS Pedals 424 Gain Stage is a lo-fi tone machine that captures the unique character of a vintage 424 multi-track recorder. With vintage-correct circuitry and the same op-amps used in original designs it delivers the gooey saturation rubbery cleans and broken fuzz tones that shaped bedroom pop indie rock and experimental sounds across generations. From subtle tone shaping to full-blown cassette-style fuzz the 424 Gain Stage offers dual gain controls EQ shaping and both 1/4″ and XLR outputs for flexible routing in any setup. Whether used as a preamp a fuzz box or a direct-in solution it brings the unmistakable vibe of classic cassette recordings straight to your pedalboard.
