Fender Custom Shop 63 Stratocaster Heavy Relic RW Faded Aged Sonic Blue is an electric guitar.

Description

The Fender Custom Shop 63 Stratocaster Heavy Relic RW Faded Aged Sonic Blue captures the worn-in character of a well-played early-60s Strat with precise Custom Shop craftsmanship. Built from a two-piece alder body and finished in Faded Aged Sonic Blue lacquer the guitar reflects the look of an instrument that has seen decades of regular use. The Heavy Relic treatment introduces extensive finish wear and aged hardware recreating the visual and tactile feel of a Strat that has spent years on stage. The neck is constructed from quarter-sawn maple and paired with a round-laminated AAA rosewood fingerboard measuring approximately 9 mm thick. A 63 Strat Style C profile 9.5″ radius and narrow tall 6105 fret wire provide a comfortable playing feel with vintage-inspired response. Electronics are handled by hand-wound Fat 60s pickups with a reverse-wound middle pickup for hum-cancelling in positions two and four. Combined with Strat Vintage Modified Wiring #2 and a CRL 5-way switch this Custom Shop build delivers classic Strat tone with clarity articulation and dynamic response.
