The Fender Custom Shop 62 Stratocaster Relic is a recreation of one of the most influential electric guitars ever produced. Part of the Custom Shops Time Machine collection it captures the feel of a well-loved early-60s Stratocaster combined with Custom Shop craftsmanship. An alder body with an off-centre two-piece construction is finished in aged Olympic White lacquer complete with relic treatment and dirty checking that recreates decades of natural wear. The result is a guitar that immediately feels familiar resonant and inspiring from the moment its picked up. Every detail has been carefully chosen to reflect the spirit of a vintage 1962 Stratocaster. A comfortable 60 Style Oval C neck profile is paired with a AAA-grade rosewood slab fingerboard featuring a compound radius for a balance of vintage feel and modern playability. Hand-wound Fat 60s pickups deliver classic Strat tones while period-correct hardware and appointments complete the experience. From blues leads and clean rhythm work to driven rock tones this Stratocaster combines authentic vintage character with Custom Shop refinement throughout.
