Description

Oranges OR60 is a UK-built all-valve amp head for players who want a single channel that covers sparkling cleans edge-of-breakup punch and full-on modern gain. A pair of 6L6 power valves delivers 60 watts of muscle with tight lows and an open midrange that stays clear when you lean on boosts. A negative feedback loop keeps the response disciplined so palm mutes stay percussive and chords hold together at volume while your guitars volume knob still cleans up naturally. Its voiced to take boosts beautifully turning a simple pedal into extra saturation and sustain without getting fizzy. For real gig practicality a footswitchable second volume gives you instant level changes for solos or rhythm/lead balance without touching gain. Presence and Resonance controls tune the power amps top-end cut and low-end thump to suit different cabs and rooms and the Bright switch adds bite for darker pickups or extra sparkle on clean tones. Switch to 30 watts for earlier power-stage push and use the valve-buffered FX loop to keep delays and reverbs clear at any gain level. From rehearsal rooms to loud stages it stays direct loud and ready to go.

Amp Heads

An amp head contains the core tone and power of a guitar amplifier without the built-in speakers, allowing you to pair it with the cabinet of your choice. This setup offers greater flexibility over sound and volume, as different speaker cabinets can dramatically change the feel and character of the amp. Amp heads are available in valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, ranging from low-wattage studio models to high-powered touring rigs. They’re ideal for players who want a modular setup, precise control over their tone, and the ability to adapt their rig to different venues, cabinets, or recording situations.

Amps

Guitar amps cover everything needed to amplify, shape, and project your guitar sound, from small practice setups to full stage and studio rigs. In this category you’ll find combo amps, separate amp heads and speaker cabinets, covering valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, each offering a different feel and response. You’ll also see modelling and digital amps, built-in effects, footswitches, attenuation solutions, replacement speakers, valves, and essential accessories to keep an amp performing at its best. Whether you’re chasing pristine cleans, classic crunch, or modern high-gain tones, guitar amps and related gear are all about finding the right balance of power, tone, and control for the way you play.
