The ’53 Telecaster pickups are brilliant recreations of the pickups that were used in the original Telecasters, but with a fresh updated twist. The variation here features a Nickel finish.
Early 50’s Telecaster Sound
The bridge pickup offers bite and the world-renowned Telecaster twang, while the neck pickup provides wonderful warm clarity. This results in a tone that stays bright without sounding thin. The set is also very articulate and combines for a top of the line middle position.
Differing Pickup Wire Gauges
Mixing gauges of pickup wire doesn’t have a downside here; both are extremely well-balanced meaning there won’t be a jump in volume when swapping between the pickups.
