Description

The Fender Custom Shop 1951 Nocaster Journeyman Relic is a refined recreation of one of Fenders earliest and most influential designs combining classic Blackguard tone with subtle ageing and Custom Shop precision. Finished in Aged Crimson Transparent it offers a unique twist on traditional finishes while still capturing that unmistakable early 50s character. The 2-piece select ash body delivers bright punchy response with excellent sustain while the nitrocellulose lacquer finish allows the wood to resonate freely giving you a lively and dynamic feel across a wide range of playing styles. A 1-piece rift sawn maple neck shaped to a substantial 1951 “U” profile provides a full comfortable grip paired with a vintage compound 7.25 to 9.5 inch radius for a blend of classic feel and improved playability. Jescar vintage frets keep things authentic while allowing smoother bends and control. Loaded with Custom Shop hand-wound 51 Nocaster pickups this guitar delivers sharp attack rich mids and clear highs with plenty of dynamic response. Finished with vintage-style hardware and a traditional control layout its a pure expressive instrument built for players who want early Fender tone with added refinement.

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.
