The Fender American Ultra II Meteora Bass Ebony Fingerboard Ultraburst is an advanced instrument built with premium materials precision craftsmanship and versatile electronics. Its select alder body features Ultra sculpted contours and a tapered neck heel providing comfortable access to the upper register. The quartersawn maple Modern D neck combines an Ultra Satin finish with graphite reinforcement and Posiflex support rods while the 10″-14″ compound-radius ebony fingerboard has Ultra rolled edges and Luminlay side dots. A calibrated pair of Haymaker bass humbuckers provides powerful expressive tones with deep lows hard-hitting mids and articulate highs without hum. The redesigned 18-volt preamp offers S-1 switching for active or passive operation a global passive tone control and three-band active EQ with selectable midrange frequency. An adjustable four-saddle HiMass bridge supports string-through-body or top-load setups while Fender lightweight tuners with tapered shafts complete a performance-focused specification designed for dependable playing and extensive tonal control.
