Description

The Gibson SJ-200 Original with HiFi DNA Vintage Sunburst is a premium electro acoustic guitar that continues the legacy of Gibsons legendary King of the Flat-Tops. First introduced in 1937 the SJ-200 has become a favourite among country folk and rock musicians thanks to its commanding sound and unmistakable appearance. Its solid Sitka spruce top traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing and flame maple back and sides produce a bold acoustic voice with excellent projection while its Super Jumbo body shape gives every performance a distinctive presence. Combining vintage-inspired craftsmanship with modern amplification the SJ-200 Original features Gibson-exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA electronics that faithfully reproduce its natural acoustic character. The two-piece maple neck has a comfortable Rounded profile complemented by a rosewood fretboard with elegant mother-of-pearl graduated crown inlays. Gold Gotoh Keystone tuners a carved four-bar Moustache bridge and a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish complete its classic presentation. A Gibson hardshell case is also included for convenient transport and secure protection.
