The Shredzilla Exotic Archtop is a sleek double cut designed with shredders and metal players in mind. Featuring an ergonomic body shape and a no heel, neck thru body construction, the Shredzilla Exotic Archtop practically plays itself! The arched top offers a comfortable playing experience whilst the double cutaway design allows for excellent access to all 24 frets. A 5-piece Wenge/Maple neck delivers improved stability and a beautiful 14″ radius Indian Ebony fingerboard lends itself perfectly to lead playing, anywhere on the neck. You’ll also find that heavy riffage on the lower frets feels great under your fingers too!
Driving the Shredzilla Exotic Archtop is a set of legendary DiMarzio humbuckers, optimised for high gain tones. In the neck position is a Deactivator ™ humbucker which is rich in harmonic content with a smooth sustain. In the bridge, you’ve got the iconic, the original, Super Distortion ™ humbucker, which is the perfect blend of power and tone! Each pickup can be coil split for some sparkly single coils tones too! A Floyd Rose 1000 Series bridge coupled with a set of Grover locking Rotomatic tuners ensures the Shredzilla Exotic Archtop stays perfectly in tune under any conditions.
