Description

The Martin D-35 Standard Series is an incredible guitar with understated looks that don’t detract from its incredible & sought-after sound. Over 185 years, Martin’s original and most discernible models have largely remained intact and unchanged, demonstrating the winning formula that they established almost two centuries ago. For 2025, they’ve introduced a sweeping wave of updates to elevate the sound, playability, and aesthetics of these cornerstone guitars, from Golden Era bracing to subtle neck & heel improvements.

Solid Construction

The Martin D-35 has a solid Sitka spruce top with glossy finish, special East Indian rosewood for the polished back and sides, and genuine ebony for the fingerboard and bridge. With its rich, resonant warmth and punchy volume, the Martin D-35 is particularly well-suited to music styles requiring loud, powerful rhythm accompaniment. You even get a Martin case so it’s easy to keep your new guitar in the best condition wherever music takes you.

The Workhorse Dreadnought

Some guitars ‘lend themselves’ to a certain style of playing be it fingerpicking, strumming etc. Not so with the Martin D35. This timeless instrument has all the dynamic range you could wish for and lets your playing style do the talking!

The D-14 Fret body features Martin’s Golden Era (GE) scalloped X bracing, giving the D-35 richly enhanced sustain and a robust structure that’ll last a lifetime. Enjoy a more comfortable playing experience with the modernised GE bridge, boasting smoother curves and subtler edges. Nuanced appointments like bone bridge pins, a thinner fingerboard with beveled edges, and sleek adjustments to the heel ensure that the D-35 remains a cornerstone of acoustic guitar design, rooted in heritage but looking to the future of 6-string strumming.

Please note: the images on this listing are of the previous Martin Standard Series releases, so there may be subtle aesthetic differences to the 2025 models. New photographs coming soon!
