Description
The Martin DSS-17 Whiskey Sunset is an American made, all-solid, dreadnought acoustic guitar.
The DSS-17 features that classic sloped shouldered, dreadnought shaped body. Its all-solid construction; spruce top with mahogany back and sides, allows the guitar to deliver a full-voice with good amounts of low end with a pleasing top end. Finished in the Whiskey Sunset finish, set off with antique white binding, the DSS-17 has classic vintage charm.
The body is married to a select hardwood neck, with a modified low oval neck with a high-performance taper for playing comfort. The neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard set with 20 frets and Mother of Pearl 1955 Style 18 inlays.
Other appointments include Golden Age Relic Nickel tuners, an ebony headplate and a bone nut.
