Description

Friedman's acclaimed Twin Sister amplifier was designed for guitar players seeking a vintage, classic rock tone inspired by the game-changing British tube amps from the '60s and '70s. Now, this popular model has received an update. Say hello to the Twin Sister's successor — the Little Sister!

A British-Voiced, Single-Channel Brute!

The Friedman Little Sister is a 20-watt, EL84-powered amplifier head based on it's 40-watt predecessor — capable of delivering the signature hot-rodded UK sounds that Friedman amps are known for. It features a single channel that gives you everything from gorgeous sparkling cleans to a glorious old-school crunch.

Despite its simplicity, the Little Sister is surprisingly versatile and can be employed for many styles of music — from blues to rock and country — all by just adjusting the gain and master, S-Switch (gain structure) and B-Switch (Bright/Tight). Trust us, the Friedman Little Sister will impress you with all of the different tones available! It's a real screamer that you can easily transport to rehearsals or gigs, thanks to its compact proportions.

Perfect Pedal Platform

While being flexible enough to cater for most genres from its single-channel design, the Little Sister can also be treated like a blank canvas for your stompboxes! It takes boosts and overdrives incredibly well, while the ultra-transparent series effects loop handles your time-based effects and modulation pedals with ease.

Made in the USA

The Little Sister boasts the classy aesthetics and premium build quality that you would come to expect from a Friedman amplifier made in the USA, with the handcrafted cabinetry utilising a tongue and groove Baltic Birch construction that robustly protects the internal circuitry.

Amp Heads

An amp head contains the core tone and power of a guitar amplifier without the built-in speakers, allowing you to pair it with the cabinet of your choice. This setup offers greater flexibility over sound and volume, as different speaker cabinets can dramatically change the feel and character of the amp. Amp heads are available in valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, ranging from low-wattage studio models to high-powered touring rigs. They’re ideal for players who want a modular setup, precise control over their tone, and the ability to adapt their rig to different venues, cabinets, or recording situations.
