Description

Designed in collaboration with the one and only Steve Lukather, the Luke is firmly established as a modern classic. The Sterling by Music Man Luke HSS stays true to the original recipe, retaining the instantly recognisable body shape and comfy V-shaped neck, but spices things up with a super‑versatile HSS pickup layout.
With a 5‑way selector, vintage-style tremolo and a seriously handy 12dB push‑push volume boost on tap, this guitar is built to cover a huge amount of sonic ground. And with a gorgeous Flamed Maple veneer top, it looks every bit as good as it sounds.Key Features
Roasted Maple neck: Lightweight, stable and resistant to warping. It’s got a beautifully smooth feel too, and boosts resonance for a lively playing experience.
HSS pickups: Equipped with a ceramic bridge humbucker and a pair of alnico single‑coils, the Luke HSS has serious range. Dial in glassy cleans, smooth, vocal lead tones or switch things up for tight, punchy high‑gain rhythms.
Push/push volume boost: Need to jump out for a solo? Just push the volume knob to engage the 12dB volume boost and cut straight through the mix — no pedal or amp tweak required.
Vintage tremolo: Dives, vibrato and cool pitch tricks are all on the menu thanks to this smooth, responsive trem.
Locking tuners: Improved tuning stability even after heavy tremolo use — plus lightning-fast restringing. What’s not to love?

More info about this Product

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.
