Description

The Taylor GS Mini-e Special Edition in Honeyburst takes the much-loved GS Mini formula and adds a stunning Honey Sunburst finish and upgraded electronics. Compact and comfortable yet impressively full-sounding, it is a brilliantly versatile electro acoustic for home playing, songwriting, travelling and intimate live sets.
At the heart of this model is a solid torrefied Sitka spruce top that delivers a clear, balanced tone with a touch of vintage-style warmth. Layered sapele back and sides keep the guitar lightweight and stable, while the shorter 23.5 inch scale and slim Taylor neck make it easy for players of all ages and abilities to enjoy. Plug in with the onboard ES-B system and you have a natural, stage-ready sound plus a handy built-in tuner, all protected on the move by the included tan structured gig bag.

Compact Size, Big Sound
The GS Mini body shape is scaled down for comfort but still voiced to produce a surprisingly big, room-filling sound. The compact proportions make it ideal for sofa sessions, smaller players or anyone who wants a more manageable acoustic, without sacrificing projection or tonal richness.

Torrefied Sitka Spruce Top
A solid torrefied Sitka spruce top gives this GS Mini-e a lively, responsive character with impressive clarity. Taylor’s roasting process adds an aged-in sweetness and warmth, so you get a mature, played-in tone straight out of the box that works beautifully for strumming, flatpicking or fingerstyle.

Comfortable Taylor Neck
The neo-tropical mahogany neck with Taylor’s standard carve profile and a 1 11/16 inch nut width offers an easy, relaxed playing feel. Chords are comfortable to fret, stretches feel less demanding and the shorter 23.5 inch scale reduces string tension, which is especially helpful for beginners or electric players moving to acoustic.

Stage Ready with ES-B Electronics
Taylor’s ES-B electronics provide a clear, natural amplified sound that captures the guitar’s acoustic character. The simple control layout keeps things intuitive, while the built-in digital tuner means you can quickly dial in accurate tuning wherever you are, without needing extra gear.

Key Features
Solid Torrefied Sitka Spruce Top – The solid torrefied spruce top delivers a clear, balanced tone with enhanced warmth and sweetness. The roasting process helps the guitar sound more open and mature from day one, making it inspiring to play whether you are gently fingerpicking or strumming with energy.
Comfortable GS Mini Body and Short Scale – The scaled-down GS Mini body and 23.5 inch scale length make this guitar extremely comfortable to hold and play. It is a great fit for younger players, those with smaller hands or anyone who wants a more portable acoustic that still offers a surprisingly big voice.
ES-B Electronics with Built-in Tuner – The ES-B pickup and preamp system gives you a reliable, plug-in-and-play solution for gigs, rehearsals or recording. With a built-in digital tuner on board, you can keep your tuning in check at all times, helping you sound your best without carrying extra accessories.
Honey Sunburst Finish and Structured Gig Bag – The exclusive Honey Sunburst top finish adds a distinctive, eye-catching look that sets this Special Edition apart. The included tan structured gig bag makes it easier to transport and store the guitar, so it is ready to go wherever you want to play.

Electro-Acoustic

Electro-acoustic guitars are acoustic instruments fitted with built-in pickups or microphones that allow them to be amplified or connected directly to a PA system or amplifier. They retain the natural acoustic tone and feel of a traditional acoustic guitar while adding the convenience of onboard electronics.

They are commonly used for live performance and recording, especially in situations where consistent volume and clarity are needed. Electro-acoustic guitars often include controls for volume and tone, and sometimes built-in tuners, making them a practical choice for gigging musicians who want an acoustic sound with modern flexibility.
