Versatile Vela electronics
Under the hood, the S2 Vela Semi-Hollow sports a pickguard-mounted PRS DS-01 humbucker in the bridge position for bright, chimey tones. While the PRS Narrowfield in the neck brings a punchy bite that’ll surprise you. Need even more versatility? Flick the coil-tap on the tone control and split that bridge pickup for some single-coil sparkle.
PRS plate-style bridge
Holding it all together is PRS’s plate-style bridge — a nod to Paul’s early designs and classic bass plate bridges. It’s top-loading for easy string changes, and with brass saddles and a steel plate, you’re getting maximum sustain and tone. This is the same style of bridge you’ll find on Paul’s Guitar and some Private Stock models, so you know it’s the real deal.Key Features
