Description

The Ibanez AZES31 encompasses versatility, style, and comfort to give you a contemporary meets classic instrument that is perfect for beginner and intermediate players. Featuring three single coils, you’ll experience a wide array of expansive tones to suit your playing style. The AZES has streamlined the learning process, giving you a 10” fingerboard radius, Mono-unit output jack, a comfortable oval “C” neck shape, and A F106 bridge for greater tuning stability and intonation.

Essentials. Classic Pickups, For A Classic Style

Essentials single coil pickups produce well-balanced versatile tones for you to play a variety of different styles and genres. As you might expect from single coil pickups, the Essentials produce an articulate, crystal clear, and somewhat glassy tone. Classic pickups, for a classic style. However, there is a modern twist, as these single coils have been designed to take gain extremely well for a retro ‘80s hair metal sound.

Dyna-MIX8 Switching System with Alter Switch

The dyna-MIX8 offers 8 sound variations for you to unlock different single coil modes with just a flick of the mini switch. One mode even simulates a humbucking sound from the combination of two single-coil pickups for a crunchy and beefy tone giving you vast versatility.

Comfortable Construction

Made from a Poplar body, Maple bolt-on neck, and a Jatoba fretboard with medium frets, you will receive a workhorse instrument that is responsive, balanced, and easy to play. The Poplar body, similar to Alder, produces a balanced, yet dynamic tonal resonance, whilst the bolt-on construction provides a snappy response to your playing. The “C” shape neck profile on the Maple neck makes this guitar accessible and comfortable to play for any hands, making it suitable for any guitarist.

Key Features

  • Quantum Humbucker Pickups – Balanced and dynamic, these humbuckers produce a versatile, clear, and crunchy tone.

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.
