Description

Expertly crafted for a more aggressive playing style, the new Sire Larry Carlton X5 is perfect for people who want to explore heavier music styles. With its moody Black and Blue Satin colourways and X-shape body, this guitar certainly looks ready to shred. The power in this instrument goes way beyond the appearance though, it manifests in the feel and the sound that the X5 produces.

Key features

  • Comfort and elegance – Sire’s Edgeless™ fretboard design features rolled, smoothened edges for a superior feel and playing experience.
  • LC Modern H-H pickup configuration – Two high-output humbuckers deliver powerful, warm sounds from the neck or bridge pickups.
  • Floyd Rose Special bridge – Designed to keep the guitar faithfully in tune, regardless of how aggressively it is played.

Get ready to rock!

The Larry Carlton X5 features a new Sire X-shape body crafted from Mahogany and finished off with a grainy Ash veneer. This is bolted to a hard Maple C-shaped neck, which is easy to perform whatever digit gymnastics are required to play punk, rock and metal on thanks to Sire’s rolled and smoothened Edgeless™ fretboard design.

The Sire X signature tone

Brimming with power, the X5 features two LC Modern humbuckers that are configured to provide those hard-hitting metal tones. And thanks to the five-way toggle switch, you can obtain some rude, crunchy and deeply satisfying sounds from this guitar.

Floyd Rose Special bridge

The Larry Carlton X5 comes with a heavy-duty, Floyd Rose Special bridge installed. Popular with metal players, this bridge is designed to stand up to the demands of today’s performers thanks to its double-locking design that helps the guitar stay in tune through even the most violent bends.
