Description

The Ibanez RG is a modern classic, with its sharp and elegant aesthetics catching the eyes of many hard rockers and metallers since as far back as the late 80s. The RGR652AHB-WK Prestige is the epitome of a perfect RG, with a raft of premium high-end features and a sleek design. Trust us, this instrument is a shredder's paradise!

Construction

The RG has always been a high-performance guitar, built to offer optimal playability. With a light Ash body, you won't feel any strain on your back or shoulders when playing long sets live, and you can expect a rich and full-bodied sound thanks to the wood's balanced tonal qualities.

A bolt-on 5pc Maple/Walnut neck will provide a snappy response with plenty of mid-range projection, perfect for complex riffs or solos that need loads of cut in frantic mixes. The notoriously thin Super Wizard neck profile will make fast passages a breeze to play; fitted with jumbo frets to offer you an awesome feel that will allow brilliant note control. With the Prestige fret edge treatment, your left hand can glide up and down the fretboard super-smoothly.

Electronics and Hardware

This high-end instrument is powered by a pair of DiMarzio Fusion Edge pickups, capable of handling high doses of gain. Giving you lots of saturation and top-end clarity, these are perfect for heavier genres of music, but they're not one-trick ponies. With clean settings, these pickups offer a vibrant and articulate tone, ideal for playing chords or angelic arpeggios with.

The solid Gibraltar Standard II fixed bridge has an ergonomic design, ensuring that your right hand is comfortable when playing technical palm-muted riffs. With all hardware appointments finished in black, this super-sleek looking guitar will inspire you to just pick it up and play!
