Narrowfield DD “S” pickups

These aren’t your average pickups. PRS’s innovative “Deep Dish” design combines taller bobbins, mixed magnets and steel pole pieces for a tone that’s rich, focused and versatile. Think the punch and fullness of a humbucker with the clarity and sparkle of a single-coil — all in one pickup. It’s the best of both worlds.

Poplar body, Maple neck: A classic tonewood combo for balanced sound and solid feel. Poplar’s nice and light too, making this guitar great for marathon gigs.
Wide Thin neck profile: PRS’s most popular carve for modern players. It’s slim enough for lightning-fast runs but still has enough substance for comfortable chord work.
Narrowfield DD “S” Pickups: These “Deep Dish” pickups are made with taller bobbins to fit more winds and extra metal pieces in between the magnets, for a more focused and powerful tone.
5-way toggle pickup switch: A wide palette of sounds right at your fingertips. It’s a tonal chameleon!
PRS patented tremolo: One of the designs that helped put PRS on the map back in the ‘80s. It offers buttery-smooth vibrato action, solid tuning stability and excellent sustain.
