Construction

The Super Shredder features a classic “S” style Mahogany body and a thin “C” shape bolt-on Maple neck and a Rosewood fretboard for a bright, lively tone with plenty of sustain, and the 14″ radius lends itself perfectly to fast legato runs and insane string bends.

Electronics

Loaded with a pair of EMG Retro Active Hot 70 humbuckers, the Super Shredder has a plethora of tones available that are sure to evoke plenty of hair metal nostalgia! The EMG Retro Active humbucker produces vintage inspired, high output tones a la Van Halen and ZZ Top with a dynamic response and virtually no noise.

Hardware

The Super Shredder is fitted with a Floyd Rose Special ‘Hot Rod’ Locking Tremolo bridge, as all good shred machines should! This Schecter exclusive bridge allows you to perform guitar acrobatics and dive bomb to your heart’s content whilst staying perfectly in tune. A set of Schecter tuners and a Floyd Rose Special locking nut at the other end provide excellent tuning stability.
