Expert Craftsmanship, Pro-Level Appointments

The roasted Maple Deep “C” neck sports smooth rolled fingerboard edges, a “Super-Natural” satin finish and a newly sculpted neck heel for a supremely comfortable feel and easy access to the upper register. Fender Custom Shop ’69 Stratocaster pickups produce one of the most revered guitar sounds in popular music history—the full, punchy late-’60s blues rock tone that ruled the era from Monterey on the West Coast to Woodstock on the East Coast. An upgraded 2-point tremolo with a cold-rolled steel block increases sustain, clarity and high-end sparkle.

Auxiliary Switching Push-Push Tone Control

The auxiliary switching push-push tone control provides extra pickup combinations, such as adding the neck and bridge pickups or all three pickups, by activating a switch built into the tone knob. This offers new tonal options beyond the standard 5-way switch, allowing for a thicker, Telecaster-like sound or a fuller, all-three-pickup sound that isn’t normally available on a Stratocaster.

Rolled Fingerboard Edges

The main benefit of the rolled fingerboard edges is for a more comfortable playing experience – by smoothing the edges of the fretboard, this makes it more ergonomic so you can play for longer.
