Description

Fluff brings his signature style to the Artist Series StingRay—a no-nonsense rock machine built to perform. This classic offset double cutaway body pairs with a roasted maple neck, hardtail bridge, and locking tuners for rock-solid stability.

Seymour Duncan pickups deliver serious power, with a JB Jr. at the neck and a JB Trembucker at the bridge. A single volume knob and pickup toggle switch keep things simple so you can dial in your sound fast and get playing. True to Fluff, the StingRay comes set up in Drop C# with a fresh set of Ernie Ball Beefy Slinkys.

Custom Artist Design

Fluff’s take on the StingRay balances simplicity and power. Custom touches include a hardtail fixed bridge for maximum sustain and tuning stability, plus Ernie Ball Beefy Slinkys tuned down to Drop C#—ready to rip right out of the box. Now available in two custom colorways inspired by Fluff’s roots and the Seattle rock scene.

Seymour Duncan Pickups

The Seymour Duncan-equipped StingRay makes no compromises on tone. Featuring a JB Jr. at the neck and a TB-4 JB at the bridge, it delivers the classic hot-rodded humbucker sound with a powerful growl.

Roasted Maple Neck & Locking Tuners

A smooth roasted maple neck adds stability and resonance, while locking tuners keep things in tune through even the heaviest playing. Available with a roasted maple fretboard (Amana Boat Blue finish) or Rosewood fretboard (Rula Thumb Red finish).

Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.
