Description

From the famed Heritage Guitar Inc. at the legendary 225 factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the Heritage Standard Collection is built for players who demand more. Oozing with premium features from its expertly crafted tonewoods to its premium pickups and electronics, the Heritage Standard II Collection H-535 ticks every box!

Based around one of the most iconic shapes in electric guitar design, the H-535 features a laminated Curly Maple body, a Mahogany neck with Rosewood fingerboard and a duo of Heritage Custom Shop 225 Standard Humbuckers. Ready for home, stage or studio, no stone is left unturned on this boutique hollow body tone monster. Presented in a protective Heritage hard case, you won’t want to put this guitar down.

Heritage Standard vs. Standard II H-535

The Heritage Standard II H-535 collection brings the highly regarded Heritage Standard series even closer to electric guitar perfection. No stone has been left unturned to enhance this range to the wants and needs of modern players and make the Standard II collection, Heritage’s most versatile Semi-Hollow electrics to date. Unlike the original Standard series, which featured a duo of Seymour Duncan ’59 Humbuckers, the Standard II pickups are now custom-wound in-house at the 225 factory for the most authentic humbucking tones possible. The wiring has been upgraded for Series/Parallel options, and the headstock has been refined for an even more classic look!

Heritage Guitars

It’s easy to admire guitars built in the ‘golden era’ and forget that behind the music, there are people who craft these instruments, tools which help make them and a building that holds everything together. In 1985, one of the most important workforces in guitar manufacturing was due to be disbanded and relocated. Leaving with it, one of the most influential guitar factories in the world, as well as a whole series of custom-made machinery and tools, which would be left to gather dust and rot. Fuelled by a desire not to leave Kalamazoo and to preserve the legacy that the world-famous factory on 225 Parsons Street had helped formulate, a group of passionate employees decided to purchase the iconic building as well as the original guitar-making equipment it housed. Fittingly named Heritage Guitars, they continue the goal of producing some of the finest handcrafted American-made guitars, made the old-fashioned way, in small quantities using only the finest materials available and built to the highest possible standards.

    Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

    Semi-Hollow Electric Guitars

Semi-hollow electric guitars combine elements of solid and hollow body designs, offering warmth and resonance alongside improved sustain and feedback control. Typically built with a centre block running through the body, they deliver an open, airy character while remaining stable at higher volumes. This balance makes them well suited to a wide range of styles, from jazz and blues to indie, rock, and alternative music. Semi-hollow guitars respond well to dynamics and touch, providing a versatile, expressive option for players who want depth without sacrificing control.

    Semi-Hollow

Semi-hollow guitars blend the warmth and resonance of a hollow body with the feedback control and sustain of a solid body. Featuring a solid centre block running through the body, they deliver rich, open tones with added bite — perfect for blues, jazz, rock, and soul. From smooth cleans to gritty overdrive, semi-hollows like the ES-335 have become timeless favourites for players who want depth, character, and versatility in one beautifully balanced instrument.

    Sunburst

Sunburst refers to a classic guitar finish that fades from a darker edge to a lighter centre, showcasing the natural beauty of the wood beneath. It’s one of the most recognisable and timeless looks in guitar design, adding depth, warmth, and vintage character to any instrument. Available in styles like two-tone, three-tone, and cherry sunburst, each variation brings its own personality and flair. Whether on an acoustic or electric guitar, a sunburst finish captures that perfect blend of tradition and style, making every instrument look as good as it sounds.
