Andertons are pleased to offer this Fender Custom Shop ’50s Thinline Telecaster in Super Faded Aged Sonic Blue. Featuring a semi-hollow body with an F-hole, this Tele stands out in any crowd. Its increased resonance and harmonic sustain make this the perfect addition to any collection.

Its handwound ’51 loaded neck pickup, in combination with a ’51 Nocaster bridge pickup, provides the classic Tele twang with even more bite. The comfortable ’63 C-shaped neck feels fluid up and down the neck, offering the perfect platform for fast, articulate playing as well as intricate chordal progressions. Elegently pressented in a beautiful deluxe closet classic super faded sonic blue finish with a tort guard and body binding, you won’t ever want to put this one down!

‘51 Pickups

The Fender Custom Shop ’51 Nocaster (Telecaster) bridge pickup is a faithful recreation of quite possibly the most historically important electric guitar pickup ever to be produced… the pickup that started it all. Constructed using period-correct fibre bobbins and cloth wire, flush (no stagger) Alnico 3 magnets with Enamel-coated magnet wire and a Tin-plated Copper base plate, this vintage-accurate pickup produces the esteemed shimmer and twang that early Teles are famed for. Partnered with a loaded ’51 Nocaster neck pickup for extra bite and attack, this combination offers a well-balanced set full of articulation and focus.

Telecaster

The Telecaster is one of the most iconic electric guitars ever made, first introduced by Fender in the early 1950s. Known for its simple design, solid body, and distinctive twang, it became the go-to instrument for country, rock, blues, and punk players alike. Its two single-coil pickups deliver bright, cutting tones with great clarity, making it perfect for both rhythm and lead work. The Tele’s bolt-on neck, smooth playability, and rugged build have helped it remain a timeless classic — a true workhorse guitar that’s still inspiring musicians over 70 years after its debut.
