Description

The PRS SE NF 53 is a powerful, modern guitar inspired by classic tones and design. Built on the foundation of a swamp ash body and 22-fret, 25.5” scale length bolt-on maple neck and fretboard, the PRS SE NF 53 embodies the spirit of the electric guitar in the most timeless way. The addition of PRS Narrowfield DD “S” pickups brings a lot of power and musicality without the hum, making this guitar uniquely PRS.

PRS Designed Narrowfield Pickups

A unique modern pickup design from PRS offering versatility, power and focus. Using a “Deep Dish” design in conjunction with taller bobbins and a combination of different magnets and steel pole pieces, these pickups offer the player a sound that highlights the strengths of traditional single-coil and humbucking pickups. Somewhat of a more powerful full-frequency single-coil, it takes the richness and fullness of a humbucker but adds the highs and definition of a single-coil pickup.

Versatile Lively Tone

Paired with a volume and tone control and a 3-way blade pickup switch, the SE NF 53 allows players to easily dial in their sound. Finally, the steel plate-style bridge with brass barrel saddles adds to the PRS SE NF 53’s lively tone and resonance.

PRS Quality

Paul Reed Smith is known for making some of the highest quality, best finished and most thought-over guitars ever produced. No stone is left unturned in Paul’s quest to deliver the best-feeling instruments and the most desirable guitar tones. Using the same foundations, designs and guitar-building techniques, the PRS SE is no exception to this rule. Built with the intention of offering the highest quality guitar at an affordable price, the SE series provides players with the perfect foundations to play, learn and develop their guitar journey.
