Description

The PRS HDRX 20 “Hendrix” Circuit Head Black Tolex is a Electric Guitar from the brand Paul Reed Smith that gives plenty, a solid weapon in any arsenal. The PRS HDRX 20 “Hendrix” Circuit Head is an amp that captures the essence of late-60s British tone in a compact and convenient package. It brings the power and flexibility of the HDRX 50 & 100 in a new lower-wattage package including the “Authentic Hendrix” Touring Circuit that faithfully captures the spirit and sounds of Hendrixs personal amps used at Woodstock. Its designed to push the high end so its clear but not overly harsh allowing your leads to shine with aggression and cut or your rolled-off tones to be smooth and rounded. Combined with controls that mirror the historic amp like a 3-band TMB tone stock 2-way bright switch high-mid gain switch and presence dial you can mould your tone with precision and ease. In addition the HDRX 20 features internally bridged channels and individual EQ controls so you can dial in gnarly distortions and killer tones without the need for a jumper cable. And with a Master Volume completing the set you can easily adjust levels without the need for an attenuator. These searing sounds are fuelled by high quality 5881 power valves that offer thick yet articulate tones – sonics that break up beautifully in this lower-wattage model. And formed into a compact frame and light 12kg load its ideal for musicians on the move looking to break away from 50 & 100w beasts. Complete with its sleek black finish the HDRX 20 brings one of guitardoms most sought-after sounds in a price that wont break the bank.

Amp Heads

An amp head contains the core tone and power of a guitar amplifier without the built-in speakers, allowing you to pair it with the cabinet of your choice. This setup offers greater flexibility over sound and volume, as different speaker cabinets can dramatically change the feel and character of the amp. Amp heads are available in valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, ranging from low-wattage studio models to high-powered touring rigs. They’re ideal for players who want a modular setup, precise control over their tone, and the ability to adapt their rig to different venues, cabinets, or recording situations.

Amps

Guitar amps cover everything needed to amplify, shape, and project your guitar sound, from small practice setups to full stage and studio rigs. In this category you’ll find combo amps, separate amp heads and speaker cabinets, covering valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, each offering a different feel and response. You’ll also see modelling and digital amps, built-in effects, footswitches, attenuation solutions, replacement speakers, valves, and essential accessories to keep an amp performing at its best. Whether you’re chasing pristine cleans, classic crunch, or modern high-gain tones, guitar amps and related gear are all about finding the right balance of power, tone, and control for the way you play.

Electric Guitar

An electric guitar is the backbone of countless styles, from clean, chiming rhythms to high-gain lead work. Unlike acoustics, electric guitars rely on pickups and amplification, so details like pickup type, scale length, body shape, neck profile and bridge design all have a real impact on how the instrument feels and sounds in your hands. Whether you’re drawn to classic single-coil sparkle, thick humbucker punch, or more modern high-output designs, the right electric guitar should inspire you to play and respond naturally to your touch. It’s not just about genre or looks – it’s about finding an instrument that fits your playing style, your hands, and the music you want to make.
