The Gibson J-45 Standard w/ LR Baggs Vintage Sunburst is an iconic round-shoulder dreadnought built around the rich balance warm low end and strong projection that define the celebrated J-45. Its solid Sitka spruce top works with the solid mahogany back and sides for an unmistakable acoustic voice offering impressive dynamic response smooth mids and focused punchy bass. A gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish and classic binding complete its timeless Vintage Sunburst appearance. The mahogany neck features a fast comfortable SlimTaper profile with a rosewood fretboard mother-of-pearl dot inlays and Grover Rotomatic tuners supporting smooth dependable performance. Gibson-exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA electronics use two lightweight internal bridge-plate sensors with optimised preamps to capture a natural full-bodied amplified tone without altering the guitars unplugged voice. Discreet soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls make adjustments intuitive while the included hardshell case helps ensure this renowned acoustic is ready for stage and studio use.
