Description

are pleased to offer this Limited Edition, Fender Custom Shop ’72 Telecaster Custom Thinline in Relic Faded Sage Green Metallic. Featuring a semi-hollow body with a single F-hole in combination with a stunning AAA-grade flamed roasted Maple neck, this Tele feels lively with acoustic-like resonance and a powerful singing sustain. Its Loaded ’51 Nocaster bridge pickup offers classic Tele twang turned up to 11, and its genuine Wide Range Humbucker in the neck position offers powerful humbucking tones with a beautiful seasoning of single-coil articulation and presence. The comfortable ’69 U-shape neck feels fluid up and down the neck, providing the perfect amount of wood to grip onto at any given place. Elegantly presented in Faded Sage Green Metallic with tasteful Relic ageing, a tortoiseshell pickguard and binding on both the body top and bottom, the Limited Edition Tele Custom Thinline is the perfect centrepiece to any collection! CuNiFe Wide Range Introduced by Fender in the early ‘70s the Wide Range pickup was Fender’s first venture into humbucking pickups. Designed by legendary pickup designer Seth Lover (designer of the esteemed Gibson PAF Humbucker), this pickup offered guitarists the fatness often associated with humbuckers while still maintaining the articulation and clarity of a typical Fender single-coil pickup. Partnered with its fiery hand-wound ’51 Loaded Nocaster single-coil bridge pickup, this Thine-line Tele offers a versatile blend of tones that covers just about every playing style and tone. Roasted Ash The already perfect combination of an Ash body, Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard but made even better! Roasting the Ash body in effect, ages and seasons the wood to absolute perfection. All moisture, sugars and saps are roasted away, leaving you with a piece of timber which feels like it’s been seasoned for 100 years. Perfectly resonant and often lighter. Wonderfully complemented by its Roasted Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard, this Tele is resonant and lively with increased sustain and overtone. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

The most useful differences include scale length, construction, pickup type, neck profile, materials and whether the instrument is intended for amplified, acoustic or hybrid use. Use the narrower guitar categories and feature tags to compare instruments with similar designs rather than relying on appearance alone.
