Description

Here's what Ampeg say about the SVT-410HLF:

This is the speaker cabinet for the bass player who demands the ultimate in a single, compact cabinet setup. The SVT-410HLF delivers devastating low-end bass, all the way down to 28Hz, thanks to four 10” speakers working together to move a tremendous amount of air.

The SVT-410HLF actually moves 10% more air than two 18-inch speakers, and 25% more than three 15-inch speakers! And those leviathans simply can’t respond to transient peaks as quickly as four tens can. The SVT-410HLF also delivers superb top-end, thanks to its 1” horn driver, strategically crossed over at 4kHz. This is a favorite enclosure for such artists as Meshell Ndegeocello, John McVie of Fleetwood Mac, and Ricky Skaggs’ bass player, Mark Fain.

The Ampeg SVT-410HLF is the supreme speaker enclosure for the multi-string bass player seeking both superior power handling and true high-fidelity performance.

Amp Cabinets

A speaker cabinet is responsible for turning your amplifier’s power into the sound you actually hear, and it plays a huge role in the overall feel and character of your tone. Different cabinet sizes, speaker types, and configurations can affect everything from low-end punch to clarity and projection. Cabinets can be open-back or closed-back, single or multi-speaker, each offering a distinct response and spread in a room. Whether paired with a powerful amp head or a compact setup, the right speaker cabinet helps define how your guitar sits in a mix and how it feels to play.

Amps

Guitar amps cover everything needed to amplify, shape, and project your guitar sound, from small practice setups to full stage and studio rigs. In this category you’ll find combo amps, separate amp heads and speaker cabinets, covering valve, solid-state, and hybrid designs, each offering a different feel and response. You’ll also see modelling and digital amps, built-in effects, footswitches, attenuation solutions, replacement speakers, valves, and essential accessories to keep an amp performing at its best. Whether you’re chasing pristine cleans, classic crunch, or modern high-gain tones, guitar amps and related gear are all about finding the right balance of power, tone, and control for the way you play.
