The Chapman DPT is Pete Honoré’s guitar which is built to deliver that signature Danish Pete tone. This highly specified instrument is perfect for the high-performance player!

Weilding a pair of Peter Honoré Custom Wilkinson R Series pickups, this guitar packs a versatile punch. The 8k Alnico V bridge pickup and the 7k Alnico V neck are subtle and warm, while also being able to deliver clear driven tones.

Featuring an Alder body for a warm and balanced tonal resonance, a Rosewood fretboard for a silky smooth feel and a deeper resonant tone in the low-end, perfect for an elegant baritone, combined with a comfortable “C” shape roasted Maple neck and 22 jumbo stainless steel frets, this guitar is expressive in every way.

Key Features

  • The Player’s Dream Neck – Boasting a Maple neck with a Rosewood fretboard and 22 vintage appropriate narrow-tall nickel frets. With a 25.5” scale length, a comfortable C-shaped profile (laser scanned from Pete’s, personal guitar), it’s a player’s dream.
  • Treble Bleed – Play at lower volumes while still retaining the full sound spectrum thanks to the treble bleed system!
  • Modern Vintage Design – Painstakingly designed from scratch to incorporate all of the curves that Pete required and crafted from Alder, the DPT’s retro vibes are complemented by its stunning finish.
  • Enhanced Tuning Stability – Boasting highly sought-after Wilkinson hardware, you can rest assured that your guitar will stay in tune, as well as providing easy maintenance when changing strings!

Stuff About Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Stuff About Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.

Stuff About Solid Body Electric Guitars

Solid body electric guitars are built from a solid piece or pieces of wood, giving them excellent sustain, stability, and resistance to feedback at higher volumes. This construction makes them well suited to amplified playing across a wide range of styles, from clean and articulate tones to heavy, high-gain sounds. Their design allows pickups and hardware to play a major role in shaping tone, while the solid body provides a consistent, reliable feel. Solid body electric guitars are valued for their durability, versatility, and ability to perform confidently on stage and in the studio.
