In addition to its superior pickups and controls the Fusion 5 is constructed with high-quality tonewoods that produce warm and rich voicings. The solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides work together to create a balanced and resonant sonic whilst its full body with cutaway design allows for extended playing range. Its neck alongside its smaller 48mm nut width provides an experience very close to that of a steel string guitar making it an excellent choice for players with smaller hands or those looking for a familiar feel.
