Description

Here's What Disaster Area Say About the PBA-4 Dual Junction Box – Standard Edition

The PBA-4 Dual Junction Box is a passive jack module for your pedalboard.

Consisting of four high-quality isolated jacks, the PBA-4 can serve in a variety of signal routing applications.

Standard Version

The PBA-4 is small enough to mount underneath the angle of most Pedaltrain boards (including PT-Jr, PT-1 / 2 / 3, PT-Pro, PT Novo series, and PT Classic series) to allow for a convenient input or output point.

The standard version has each pair of jacks wired together in parallel.

Connect two pedalboard patch cables between your first and last pedals and the PBA-4, and then you can plug in your instrument cables directly to your board saving valuable setup time.

Use a single PBA-4 as both input and ouput points for your board, or use the PBA-4 as a stereo output junction. Both tip and ring connectors are wired through on the PBA-4, so it can also serve as a connection for expression pedals or stereo patch cables.

Guitar Pedals

Guitar pedals are compact effects units that shape and enhance a guitar’s sound, sitting between the instrument and the amplifier. They include gain pedals like overdrive and distortion, modulation effects such as chorus and tremolo, time-based effects like delay and reverb, and essential utilities including tuners, compressors and loopers. Understanding basic things such as pedal type, signal order, power requirements and intended use helps players choose pedals that suit their style, setup and playing environment.
