About EastCoast Guitars

EastCoast guitars are brilliant starter instruments that come packed with great features to get a beginner going. These instruments are some of the best low-cost guitars we’ve come across, especially when compared to others in similar price brackets. EastCoast guitars have got a large, sweeping range of electric guitars and basses.

They can produce a wide array of sounds thanks to their high-quality electronics, and the entire range has a look of familiarity about them while retaining their own character too. They’re built in a factory in the East, and by keeping production costs down, they’re able to produce guitars that punch above their weight at every level. They look slick, play well and sound great and are the perfect way to see yourself into the world of the electric guitar or bass!

About the EastCoast MTB Bass

Looking for a high-performance beginner bass guitar that can accelerate the learning process? The EastCoast MTB is the perfect choice! With a cool contemporary design, the MTB comes loaded with a bunch of player-friendly features that’ll keep you feeling inspired to practice for longer.

The EastCoast MTB is made for metal and rock music, with its two ‘humbucking’ bass pickups delivering a powerful and punchy sound. A slim neck and medium jumbo frets make it easier to play fast, while the MTB’s Rosewood fingerboard feels luxuriously smooth underneath your fingers.

Construction

Its Poplar body provides a tight and balanced sound, perfect for the low frequencies of the bass guitar. Poplar is also light, making the MTB ideal for beginners who want to practice in a standing position without feeling strain on their shoulders. The MTB’s neck is very comfortable to play and is made from Maple, which gives this bass a bright and “snappy” sound. It comes fitted with big frets, which make it easy to fret notes cleanly and accurately.

Hardware

With contemporary appointments from every angle, the MTB looks every bit as good as it sounds. Featuring a fully adjustable four-saddle hardtail bridge and sealed, die-cast tuners, the MTB delivers excellent tuning stability and intonation. Learning to play a new instrument is tough enough, without battling to try and keep it in tune all the time.

Key Features

  • Perfect For Beginners – Built with beginners in mind and brought to you at an accessible price, the EastCoast MTB is a comfortable, lightweight, ergonomic bass with sounds & contemporary looks to match!
  • Humbucking Pickups — These are the magnetic parts of the guitar that take the vibrations of the strings and direct their sound into an amp. The ‘humbuckers’ in the MTB produce a powerful tone, perfect for filling any song with thunderous low end.
  • Excellent Tuning Stability – The MTB keeps your strings in tune thanks to its solid die-cast tuners and a hardtail bridge – so you can rock out for as long as you want.

Bass Guitars

Bass guitars form the backbone of a band’s sound, sitting between rhythm and harmony to give music depth, weight, and movement. Available in electric and acoustic forms, they focus on delivering strong, controlled low frequencies while remaining clear and responsive to playing dynamics. Factors like scale length, string type, and pickup design all influence tone and feel, allowing bass guitars to suit a wide range of styles and techniques. Whether laying down solid grooves or exploring more melodic lines, a good bass guitar anchors the music and brings everything together.

Guitar

Explore electric, acoustic and bass guitars across a wide range of playing styles, body shapes and specifications. The most useful differences include scale length, construction, pickup type, neck profile, materials and whether the instrument is intended for amplified, acoustic or hybrid use. Use the narrower guitar categories and feature tags to compare instruments with similar designs rather than relying on appearance alone.
