Epiphone Les Paul Standard 50s Goldtop is an electric guitar.

Description

The Epiphone Les Paul Standard 50s Goldtop pays tribute to the guitars that shaped the sound of the late 50s. Built with a mahogany body and maple cap it captures the unmistakable blend of warmth punch and harmonic richness that made those early models so iconic. Finished in a stunning Goldtop and featuring vintage-inspired appointments it brings the look feel and tone of a classic Les Paul into an accessible modern instrument. The 1959 Rounded Medium C neck profile offers a beautifully solid hand-filling feel that encourages smooth lead work and chunky rhythm playing alike. A rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays and 22 medium-jumbo frets gives it proper vintage character while the long neck tenon enhances sustain and resonance. ProBucker pickups provide a balanced articulate voice with a ProBucker 1 in the neck and a slightly hotter ProBucker 2 in the bridge. Combined with 50s wiring and CTS pots you get dynamic control and rich expressive tones that clean up beautifully. With LockTone hardware and Vintage Deluxe tuners this is a faithful 50s-style Les Paul ready for any stage.
