Description

Tokyo-made wonders. The E-II Eclipse range delivers premium Japanese ESP quality in every department. Incredible style, elite hardware and the latest in pickup choices.

Construction

Made of a solid mahogany body boasting one of ESP’s classiest finishes, the Eclipse is a true spectacle of a guitar – but it doesn’t stop there. Playability is always at the forefront of ESP’s design books.

It hosts a set-thru thin ‘U’ neck paired with an ebony fingerboard; a winning combination found across the ESP catalogue in USA built guitars and production models alike. Hardware choices include Gotoh locking tuners and a Gotoh TOM bridge for surefire stability.

Sound

Equipped with iconic EMG active pickups, you’re getting silky smooth, direct delivery even at high gain. Cleans come out sparkling and crunchy tones are more manageable then ever. The EMG 81 possesses aggressive metal attack. It uses classic alnico V magnets to create excellent headroom and provide boldness to your sound. The neck position 60 has a boosted midrange and harmonic overtones.

More info about this Product

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.
