The LTD Deluxe EC-01FT is a powerful, modern interpretation of the single-cutaway ESP Eclipse design, offering refined features for players who demand top-tier performance. With its minimalist flat-top body and streamlined electronics, the EC-01FT is designed to keep up with everything from searing power chords and intense riffs to expressive melodic leads, without anything getting in the way.

Built for playability, it features a 24.75” scale and a smooth set-thru neck heel, allowing easy access to the highest frets. The EC-01FT combines a classic mahogany body and a three-piece mahogany neck for rich, resonant tone, and includes a unique brushed matte black pickguard for a bold, distinctive look. With a 43mm nut, this model provides a bit of extra fretboard width, ideal for big, commanding chords.

The EC-01FT’s Macassar ebony fingerboard comes with pearloid block inlays and 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, designed for smooth, confident bends and precision. A recessed TonePros TOM bridge and string-thru body configuration keep string height comfortable while enhancing resonance, and LTD locking tuners ensure reliable tuning stability and fast string changes.

One of the standout features of the EC-01FT is its exclusive Seymour Duncan Custom 14 pickup, developed specifically for ESP. This versatile humbucker provides a wide tonal range, delivering everything from clean, shimmering tones and classic rock sounds to modern metal and hardcore crunch. For even more flexibility, a push-pull coil-split on the volume control gives access to vibrant single-coil tones, making the EC-01FT one of the most adaptable, high-performance guitars available.

Stuff About Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Stuff About Guitars

Guitars cover a wide range of instruments designed to suit different styles, techniques, and sounds, from acoustic and classical models to solid body, semi-hollow, and hollow electric designs. Factors like body shape, scale length, neck profile, string type, and pickups all influence how a guitar feels and responds, making each type suited to different players and musical approaches. Whether used for rhythm, lead, songwriting, or experimentation, guitars are expressive, versatile instruments that form the heart of countless genres and playing styles.

Stuff About Solid Body Electric Guitars

Solid body electric guitars are built from a solid piece or pieces of wood, giving them excellent sustain, stability, and resistance to feedback at higher volumes. This construction makes them well suited to amplified playing across a wide range of styles, from clean and articulate tones to heavy, high-gain sounds. Their design allows pickups and hardware to play a major role in shaping tone, while the solid body provides a consistent, reliable feel. Solid body electric guitars are valued for their durability, versatility, and ability to perform confidently on stage and in the studio.
