Description

ESP's LTD 1000 Series encompasses a range of professional-grade guitars that are attainable for most serious musicians. This exquisite EC-1000T CTM model combines the overall vibe of an outstanding vintage instrument that’s been rocking hard for years and years with the most contemporary components imaginable!

Highlights include a pair of versatile Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic humbuckers, a sleek Macassar Ebony fingerboard, a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece, stainless steel frets and LTD locking tuners.

Key Features

  • Mahogany Body — Provides a rich and deep sonic foundation for the pickups.
  • 3-Piece Mahogany Neck — Layered neck design improves strength for exceptional tuning stability.
  • Set-Through Construction — Yields massive sustain and enables smooth, unhindered access to the higher frets; especially with the contoured heel.
  • Thin "U" Neck Profile — Lean shape is suited for performance-minded players who prioritise both comfort and speed.
  • X-Jumbo Stainless Steel Frets — Resistant to corrosion for life-long performance. Wide and tall fret-wire provides a quick response and effortless articulation when playing chords or single notes.
  • Fishman Fluence Open Core Humbuckers — Each pickup offers three voicings, selectable with push-pull controls. On the neck pickup, Voice 1 offers the coveted vintage PAF tone, Voice 2 is an airy chime, and Voice 3 is a vintage single-coil. For the bridge pickup, Voice 1 emulates a PAF, Voice 2 is the classic hot-rodded humbucker, and Voice 3 is like an overwound single-coil.
  • TonePros Bridge & Tailpiece — Locking design prevents these parts from falling off of the instrument when removing the strings, and guarantees better contact with the body for increased sustain and resonance.
  • LTD Locking Tuners — Ergonomic machine heads cut down string-changing time and improve tuning stability, as less string winds are required around their tuning posts.

More info about this Product

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.
