Description

Electric guitars in the LTD 1000 Series are designed to offer the tone, feel, looks and quality that working professional musicians require in an instrument. This TE-1000 includes the powerful and innovative EverTune constant-tension bridge — ensuring that under almost any conditions, the guitar will stay perfectly in tune and have incredibly accurate intonation at every point on the fingerboard!

This ESP LTD TE-1000 EverTune features a Mahogany body with a striking burled Poplar top, paired via set-thru construction to a 3-piece Maple neck boasting a Macassar Ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets and offset dot inlays. Additional components on the TE-1000 EverTune include Grover tuners and a set of Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers (alnico in the neck position, ceramic in the bridge), with a push-pull control to activate each pickup's second voicing.

Key Features

  • Mahogany Body with Burled Poplar Top — Mahogany is a rich-sounding tonewood that gives the instrument a warm mid-range quality, adorned with a beautiful Burled Poplar top!
  • 3-Piece Maple Neck — Layered neck construction improves strength for exceptional tuning stability. Maple timber adds brightness into the sonic mix for a snappier note attack.
  • Set-Thru Construction — Yields massive sustain and enables smooth, unhindered access to the higher frets; especially with the contoured heel.
  • Thin "U" Neck Profile — Lean shape is suited for performance-minded players who prioritise both comfort and speed.
  • Macassar Ebony Fingerboard — Dark and silky material, featuring a modern 14" radius and 24 frets.
  • X-Jumbo Stainless Steel Frets — Resistant to corrosion for life-long performance. Wide and tall fret-wire provides a quick response and effortless articulation when playing chords or single notes.
  • Fishman Fluence Modern Pickups — These versatile multi-voice humbuckers serve up a host of aggressive tones and are optimised for high-gain playing. Each pickup's second voicing can be activated via a push/pull function on the tone knob.
  • Evertune Bridge — An all-mechanical system that's designed to keep the guitar perfectly in tune! Features an innovative spring and lever mechanism for each string, with the saddles pulling in a way to keep constant tension and thus naturally maintain tune through all conditions.

More info about this Product

Electric Guitars

Electric guitars use magnetic pickups to convert string vibration into an electrical signal, allowing the sound to be shaped through amplifiers and effects. Key things to understand include body shape, pickup type, neck profile, scale length and bridge design, as these all affect tone, feel and sustain. They are used across almost every modern genre, from clean and expressive to high-gain and aggressive styles, making them one of the most versatile instruments available.

Burst

A burst finish refers to a guitar finish where the colour gradually fades from a darker outer edge to a lighter centre. This technique highlights the natural grain of the wood while giving the instrument depth and visual character, making each guitar look slightly different.

Common on both electric and acoustic guitars, burst finishes range from classic sunburst styles to modern colour variations. They are popular because they combine a traditional look with a visually striking appearance that complements the shape and craftsmanship of the guitar.
